CONTACT

This is a personal, one-person project — there is no support desk, but every message lands in front of the maintainer.

Bugs, questions, ideas

The fastest path is the 🛟 help button on the main site. It opens a short form and attaches the context that makes problems fixable — which scene you were viewing and your browser. Everything sent there goes to a private tracker and gets read.

Aurora photos

Photographs for the calibration corpus and the community map go through the photo intake. Want a photo taken down? Use the 🛟 button or the same form — it comes off the map and out of the corpus on request, no questions asked.

Media, licensing & business

Licensed displays, embeds, and the keyed API have a home now: Observatory Pro — museum & science-center kiosks, newsroom embeds and broadcast clips, aurora-tourism forecast widgets and webhooks, and developer keys. Licensing inquiries are open. For anything else (film/TV consulting, partnerships), use the 🛟 help form and begin your message with BUSINESS — those are triaged first.

Alerts

Push alerts are managed entirely from the 🔔 panel on the main site — enabling, choosing topics, and unsubscribing all happen there. What alert subscriptions store (very little) is described on the privacy page.

Support

The site is free and stays that way. If it helped you catch an aurora: ☕ ko-fi.com/jacobsprankle.

Response time

Usually within a few days. During big storms, the sky wins — replies may lag a night or two.
